This year marks 20 years of Dolce Lusso—and when we look back, it’s really about so much more than salons and services. It’s about people, relationships, and the feeling we’ve worked to create for every guest who walks through our doors.
From day one, our goal has been simple: make every person feel better when they leave than when they came in.
Where It All Began
Dolce Lusso began in 2006 in Baxter Village, Fort Mill with a dream of creating something different. Not just a salon, but a place where everyone feels welcome—no matter their hair type, style, or background.
We started with hair and nails, and quickly grew into spa services, but the heart of it all never changed. It’s always been about the experience and how our guests feel.
Growing Across the Carolinas
Over the years, Dolce Lusso has been blessed with opportunities to expanded —and each new location brought us closer to more incredible communities.
2006 – Baxter Village, Fort Mill (closed in 2023)
2008 – Stonecrest, Charlotte
2008 - Market Common, Myrtle Beach
2014 – Park Road, Charlotte
2019 – Kingsley, Fort Mill
While not every chapter has been easy, each step has shaped who we are today. Each location has its own story, but they all share the same foundation: great service, a welcoming environment, and a team that truly cares.

Aveda helped lay that foundation for us early on with its clean approach. As the industry evolved, so did we—bringing in brands like Goldwell and Oribe that allow us to deliver even better results while still aligning with our standards.
At the end of the day, it’s about giving our guests the best of both worlds: quality you can trust and performance you can see.
Giving Back to Our Community
One of the things we’re most proud of over the last 20 years is the ability to give back.
